¿Qué pasa en la clase de Español IV? (What is going on in Spanish IV)
This month in Spanish class because it was recently halloween we have been doing a lot with fears, and things that give you the chills. Along with that we have learned about how to express activities you used to do, one thing that changed you, and what is the outcome now. We mainly focused this month on preterite and imperfect, and when to use the two different tenses. Some new vocal we learned this month is "escalofrios" which means "chills".
El Vampiro y La dentista
This was a short film we watched to help us with our vocab, and our understanding of preterite and imperfect.
Canción de la Mes
"Azul" was a song we listened to by Natalia Lafourcade. The song incorporated fears which is a topic we studied this month in Spanish.
Casa Tomada
This was a story we listened to to better our understanding of preterite vs imperfect.
Word of the Month
The word of the month in Spanish is "escalfrios" which means chills. We have been using this word a lot when describing what fears of ours give us the chills.
Quote
This quote says "That moment when you start to think in both languages at the same time". I think this quote is perfect because as we progress in spanish class this year we begin to think more in spanish.
What we have done this Month
This month we have focused a lot on being able to talk to other people, and hold a steady conversation about what has happened in our past.
Summary
The Venezuelan parliamentary elections are happening. And this election is the biggest and most controversial election in history of Venezuela because it is the first time Chavisimo has been defeated.
