The group picture is the first picture of all the Riceville FFA Sub-district participants.

Trenten Swenson received a gold and will represent the Riceville FFA chapter in the Ag Broadcasting contest at District FFA Convention.

Anthony Houser also received a gold and will be representing the Riceville FFA chapter in the Job Interview contest at Districts.

Emma Schipper received a silver and alternate to districts in Extemporaneous speaking.

The Conduct of Meetings team consisting of Chance Christensen, Marley Drilling, Nolan Hendrickson, Pat Boyle, Annie Schroeder, Kennedy Linkenmeyer, and Kayli Hinck received a silver and the Program of Activities team consisting of Hattie Miller, Tori Koenigs, and Lilli Koenigs also received a silver.

WinterFest is new for 2023! The week will be filled with dress-up days, home room lip sync battle practices, and curriculum connection chill-out for Friday afternoon. The High School Student Council is sponsoring the Home Room Lip Sync Battles.

High school students selected 1-hour or 2-hour break-out sessions and will be participating in sessions including; Test Your Smarts, Envirothon, Pizza Creations, Self-Defense, Painting with Jo, Cricut Creations, Seussisms, Cross-Country Skiing and a 3 on 3 basketball tournament to include physical activity.

Middle school students will be participating in sessions including Vision Boards, Cardboard Challenge, Creative Paining/Drawing, Trivia, and/or a 3 on 3 basketball tournament.
