Self-Care Tip of the Month
Enjoy relaxing and absorbing the peace. Practicing mindfullness can help you maintain perspective and stay connected to your true self. Some great ways to start practicing mindfullness include:
- Schedule a Time- It is easy to not find time. Be intentional and schedule it! Use a timer to ensure you are efficient with your time!
- Relax Your Body- close your eyes, engage in a mindless motion (rocking, watching water flow), listen to soothing sounds, etc.
- Quiet Your Mind- This is hard and takes practice! You will get better.
- Be Present- Don't be worrying about the past or future! Stay in the moment!
- Learn to Return- Think of and return to your place of peace! Maybe the beach? Your favorite lake?
