Colt Corner
Celebrating 40 Years of Excellence
September 10, 2016
Dear Colt Parents,
We had another great week in Colt Country! This past week, our athletics extra curricular activities began and our student-athletes did a great job representing CMS. A big shout out to our 8th grade girls volleyball teams and coaches on their clean sweep of victories on Thursday. This upcoming week our 7th grade teams will be on the road while our 8th grade volleyball teams will host their first home games. 7th grade football will kick off the regular season at CMS on Monday as our 8th graders travel to Coppell West on Tuesday. We wish all of our teams, including dance and cheer, a fun season full of memories to last a life time.
We wrapped up the week with our first pep rally of the year, which was filled with a lot of excitement and great performances by our students. A big thanks to all of our staff members and volunteers that helped make that event happen. A lot of extra time and effort is spent by our staff in order to put together an event such as that for all of our students to enjoy.
We look forward to another great week at CMS and I hope that each of you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
BEST,
David Arencibia, Ed.D.
