IMPORTANT: Report Card Information
- Teachers will need to circle on the report card whether the student is promoted, placed or retained for next year then sign it.
- The county will auto populate ‘”P” for all core subjects in grades K – 3. The P should be changed to F in either ELA/Math or both if the student will be retained in the same grade level for next year. This procedure is different from the retained that must be enter in enrollment for students that fail an EOG.
- The county will auto populate P/F for all core subjects in grades 4 -5 based on the overall numeric grade average for the year. Once these are populated, please review for accuracy.
- The county will auto populate P for all Art, Music & PE course for all grade levels.

LAST House Meeting
Last House Meeting for Mindsets
We will have our Last House Meeting on Friday, May 24th at 8:45-9:15. Please have your child wear Beach/Hawaiian themed clothing, bring a book, and a bring beach towel to use during our last House Meeting . We will be celebrating and focusing on how we have displayed the 7 Mindsets throughout the year.

Teacher vs. Student Dodgeball Game
At 5th grade’s party on Friday, we will be having a teacher vs. student dodgeball game. The teachers would love some back up if you are free at any point between 10:30 and 11:00. Gives us a heads up so we know what our odds are.

Adobe Spark Video
Mary Jo Dunn used Adobe Spark last year and said it was super easy!!!
iMovie on iPhones & iPads
jMovie is now FREE for iOS 7 or later devices. This is an easy way to use the images you have your phone to create your EOY movie. Once it is published, simply uploaded the iMovie to Youtube and share the link with parents. The K team used this to make their Muffins for Mom's videos which was really cute because they had voice overs for each student.
Kizoa is a free slideshow and collage maker. It has tons of extra features that allow you to add transitions, effects, text, music, animations, etc. In a hurry? No problem. Upload your photos and let Kizoa to randomly select the transitions that will be played between your photos to create a slideshow in 3 clicks. You can also convert your photo slideshow into video to share it on Youtube.
PhotoSnack is a free photo slideshow maker that is easy to use. To create a slideshow, first you can choose to upload photos from 6 different sources: your computer, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket, SmugMug or Instagram. Then, customize your slideshow by choosing 1 of the 9 free templates. You can also add background music into the slideshow. Upload your own audio file or pick 1 out of the 20 sound tracks available for free.

Affordable Summer Programs
For The Boys & Girls Club: They offer a payment plan for parents that are unable to pay the entire fee at once. The camp will be at Chattahoochee Elementary, onsite registration is May 13th at 5:30 p.m. Please encourage your interested parents to register early, as there are only 50 available slots.
For the YMCA: For financial Assistance, view the following link: https://www.ymcaatlanta.org/financial-assistance/ We will need a completed financial assistance application, which you can print out online, along with your 1040 tax return and any of the supporting documents listed in the link. When you turn in all the documents to your home branch you will receive word back from the membership director on how much the membership will be.

Classified Staff Summer Trainings
To assist you in your use of Google products and Outlook 365, the instructional technology department will be offering both Google and Outlook Training again this summer. There are four different opportunities for each training. Here is the information about those sessions.
Google for Classified Staff
The Google training for classified staff will offer beginning level skills within Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Forms. Skills will include the basics such as how to share and access files, organizational tips, collaboration with peers, how to survey others and analyze data collected.

Outlook for Classified Staff
This training will look at the basics of Outlook including sending emails, using distribution lists, organizing your personal folders, finding sent emails, creating contacts, creating appointments, and using school calendars.
