October 2017 Newsletter
Thank you
This month you will see the beginning of our school wide positive behavior recognition system. For 7th and 8th graders you may remember that last year we recognized three students (one from each grade) each month that exhibit positive behaviors in school. We are going to continue that tradition and each month students that personify a certain positive character trait will be chosen. Check out the wall in the hall as you head to the Commons area to see each month’s trait. For October, we are looking for students who demonstrate compassion. Compassion is caring for others, showing kindness, and demonstrating selflessness. For more about compassion, please pay attention to our Words of Wisdom for the remainder of the month. It will cover all about what compassion is and how you can be compassionate in your day to day life.
We are also working on developing and implementing a behavior recognition system that will include a school store. I am excited to get it going! Stay tuned for updates!
As always, if you have any questions, comments or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me.
Have a great October!
