Boundary Exceptions
Students living in Vancouver Public Schools requesting to attend a school in the district that is not their resident/neighborhood school.
Applications for the 2020-21 school year will be accepted January 7 - March 2, 2020. You do not have to submit an In-District Choice Transfer form to renew an approved in-district boundary transfer. However, there are two exceptions. A new boundary form is required for language learning programs and highly capable programs, or if your student is entering sixth- or ninth grade. Boundary exceptions will be granted as long as space is available and a boundary exception has not been revoked. More information is available below under the tab “Changing VPS schools.”
