A Note from the Principal

Dear St. Anne Family,

Your child will be bringing home some information flyers regarding our upcoming World Finest Chocolate Sale. The sale begins next Tuesday, March 3. Because so much of this year's preparation and energies were put into our Centennial Gala, we decided not to host our school's annual Monte Carlo Night. The Monte Carlo Night has always been a fun event and brought in a little over $10,000.00. The Candy Sale does not take anywhere the amount of time it takes to put on a Monte Carlo Night, but that lost SAPTO revenue is still needed for this year, thus the Candy Sale! Thanks for your understanding and support.

Please keep our second graders in your prayers as they will be receiving the sacrament of Reconciliation this coming Saturday. It is very appropriate that their First Confession comes as we begin this season of Lent. Lent is a time of reflection and self-improvement. We are all called to use this time during Lent to become better people...better husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, etc. After the forty days of Lent, we are ready to welcome the Easter Season. Easter is that time when we remember Christ's life, death and resurrection from the dead. With His final act of love, HIs dearh n the cross and His resurrection, all of us have been assured that we can have eternal life in heaven after we died. There is no greater act of love.
