News and Notes

Dear Parents,

I hope you enjoyed your weekend! Just a few days left before Christmas and Vacation! It is hard to believe that we are just ten days away from the new year. Let's hope 2021 is a much better year for all of us. Looking back at 2020, I do have many things to be grateful for. One of which is that I am the principal of this amazing school and I get to work with you and your children. It is truly a gift. My gift to your children is a "free" Christmas themed dress down this Wednesday!

Don't forget that this Wednesday is an early dismissal- 11:45am. Classes will resume on Monday, January 4th.

Thank you to the Parents Guild, especially Mrs. Gallo and Mrs. English, for planning a very fun evening for our children on Friday. Many of our younger students virtually got together to stuff their reindeer stuffed animals, hear a story read by Santa himself and drink some delicious hot chocolate. Thank you so much for organizing this! See some of the pictures below.

Thank you and have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Ms. Kazan

December 20th - 4th Sunday of Advent

Yesterday marked the 4th Sunday of Advent. For the fourth week of Advent we go back to the more serious penitential mood, represented by the purple colored candle .

I have attached an Advent calendar for the 4th week of Advent with some daily reminders, activities and prayers to do with your children.

I wish you all a blessed Advent.

Please continue to pray for our friends in Soyapango. The completed Advent Calendar prayer sheets should be returned to school after the break as we will be sending them to El Salvador.

We are very proud of all that our community has done this holiday season to help the less fortunate. Whether you donated items to our Thanksgiving Food Drive, packed bags at the food pantry, participated in our Giving Tuesday Dress Down fundraiser, or sponsored a child through the Giving Tree, we are thankful!
