MAP ELA finished!
Summer School Enrollment
We're learning...
In science, students are building restraint systems to protect a raw egg on a journey down a ramp and into a wall to explore the effects of force and motion. Next Wednesday is Earth Day, and I would like to take the students on a walking field trip to the forest behind the playground. Students will take pictures on an iPad to create a photo collage to notice the beauty of the Earth, and will write responses to accompany the collages. **Please make sure your student wears long pants and a long shirt or jacket to protect them on our walk.** We will begin learning about the solar system next week.
In math, we are reviewing characteristics of 2-D shapes, including using a protractor to measure angles, and will move to a deeper analysis and classification of 2-D shapes late next week.
