Wanted: President of the U.S

Are you 35 years old or older? Were you born in the United States? Have you lived in the U.S for at least 14 years?
If you answered yes to all of these questions, then you can become President of the United States! You don't necessarily have to be a male either. We are yet to have a female president in office, but if you meet all the requirements as a women, it could be you that makes history. You do not have to be of a certain race either. Our current president, Barack Obama, made history in 2008 by becoming the first African-American president.

What will you be doing?
Being the President of the United States isn't all very glamorous. As a living symbol of the United States of America, you have a lot of responsibility. You can have this coveted position for up to two terms, which equals eight years. You can also have it for only four if you choose. The president is paid $400,000 annually. The president has 7 main responsibilities, and most other duties fall into these categories: chief executive, chief diplomat, commander-in-chief, legislative leader, head of state, economic leader, and party leader.
Chief Executive & Chief Diplomat
As chief executive, you'll be in charge of 15 cabinet departments. As chief diplomat, you'll be in charge of directing foreign policy and executive agreements.
Commander-in-Chief
This is a big one. You will be in charge of all armed forces. You will be the only person that can order troops into battle.
Legislative Leader
You are the leader of the legislative branch. You will be the one who signs a bill into law. You also have to deliver your legislative agenda in the State of the Union address.
Party Leader & Economic Leader
As president, you are the leader of your political party. Right now, President Obama is the leader of the Democrats. As the leader, you select the party's national chairperson.
You are also the economic leader. As the leader, you are responsible for dealing with employment rates, inflation, and high taxes. You also have to plan the federal government's yearly budget.
Head of State
President is not only an individual is extremely responsible for how America functions, but the President is also a ceremonial role. You would be a living symbol of the United States. As a person, you also represent a country which is pretty cool.
Compensation & Benefits
As a president you definitely get some special benefits. Some of those benefits include Camp David (a nice country retreat for the president and family) and a fleet of cars, airplanes and helicopters.
