High Country Student Mission and Chant!
At High Country we want our students to know and live our mission, just like our families and staff do. In order to make this happen, we have designed a kid friendly mission statement and a chant that represent our focus and values as a campus. We will say our mission statement each day on the announcements and close with our High Country chant.
Student Friendly Mission Statement:
As High Country Cougars, we will reach our goals by being respectful and responsible, working together, and challenging ourselves to grow every day.
Mission Chant:
We're High Country Cougars
And we're ready to grow!
With respect and team work
We'll reach our goals!

SAFETY FIRST! Traffic Reminders
Parents, Please follow the pick up and drop off procedures and expectations for the safety of the students, staff, and families. Here is a summary of those reminders:
- Be courteous and gracious to others! Remember, everyone is in a hurry, and everyone has a hard day at times!
- Pull forward as far as possible and watch for the signals from staff directing traffic.
- NEVER allow students to exit your car unless you are in the curbside drop off lane or parked in a spot. Do not block through traffic. This is a danger to your children.
- NEVER exit your car, unless it is in a parking space. This includes the drop off lane. If you must exit your car to drop off your student, you should park and allow them to cross at the crosswalk.
- Only cross at the middle crosswalk during the hours that the school zone is active. This is the only crosswalk that is manned by a crossing guard.
- Drive cautiously and watch the crossing guard.
Modeling this safe behavior is critical for our students safety! If we all work together and follow these expectations we will have safe and efficient drop off and pick up experiences. Thank you!
