AMS Counselors' Corner
October Update
October Character Value
During our character advisory lesson this month, our students viewed a short clip from the movie Jobs about Steve Jobs. They discussed how creativity led to Steve Jobs to be able to change the world. Does your student have that kind of creative potential? Are you encouraging his or her creative potential that could lead to the next iPhone?

AdvoCats Angel Project 2014
Each year, the AdvoCat Angel Project brings joy to children in Aledo ISD who otherwise will go without during the holiday season. AdvoCat members and community volunteers generously give of their time and resources to shop/provide presents for children of all ages across the school district. Through the joint effort of the AISD schools and counselors, children in need will be identified and have a blessed holiday season.
We would greatly appreciate your assistance with this year's Angel Project. There are two ways to volunteer:
- Be a shopper for one or more children (shopping lists are provided) or
- Give a monetary donation to help where needed.
If you are interested in volunteering or making a donation, please print and fill out the Google form below, detach and return the form to your student's school no later than Friday, November 7th. If you have any questions, please email angelproject@aledoadvocats.com. Thank you for your continued support of children and families in need!
