March Newsletter
March 2022
A Note from the Principal
Happy Dr. Seuss Week and welcome to the month of March! It's amazing that we've just about made it through the winter, and we're heading full steam ahead into Spring.
Please make sure to check your child's clothing bin for sizes and weather appropriate clothing. March and April can be a little up and down with temperatures, so make sure to bring clothes for both warm and cold temperatures.
Please join us, this month, in celebrating Dr. Seuss week, as well as St. Patrick's Day and the start of Spring.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions. Have a great month of March!
Regards,
Miranda D. Wright

Dr. Seuss Week
As many of you know, Wednesday, March 2nd is Dr. Seuss' birthday! Next week, we plan to have a full week of Seuss-y activities and celebrations. To help us celebrate, we have a full week of Spirit Days, with a different Seuss themed dress-up day, each day of the week. None of the spirit days are meant for you to go out and buy something new, but rather get creative with things you already have at home.
Monday - "The Sleep Book" - Come to school wearing their favorite Pajamas.
Tuesday - "The Cat in the Hat" - Come to school wearing your best stripes.
Wednesday - "Wacky Wednesday" - Come to school wearing your wackiest, tackiest, mis-matchiest clothes. The wackier the better!
Thursday - "Fox In Socks" - Come to school with your craziest socks on.
Friday - "Thing 1 & Things 2" Come to school dressed as your favorite Thing...Red Shirt, Blue Hair, favorite number on your shirt.
The teachers have planned so many fun activities for the week as well. We hope your little learners enjoy the week, and are excited for all of the fun!

Updated Mask Policy
As of Tuesday, March 1st, parents have the option to send their child to Chesterbrook Academy with or without a mask. If a child comes to school in a mask we are asking the teachers to ensure this is the way they stay throughout the day. However, if you choose to send your child to school without a mask, we will not offer one to them or ask them to put one on.
Please note, this change in policy only applies to students. All STAFF, PARENTS, and other ADULTS entering our facility, will be required to wear a mask while in the building at all times.
We will continue to take temperatures in the morning, upon student entry, and will continue to monitor all student symptoms throughout the day.
