Why did WWI, the Great War, have to happen at all? Alana and Jackson help students identify the main reasons why WWI began. Students will explain how the U.S. initially stayed out of the fight but eventually declared war. Alana and Jackson will help students analyze primary sources to learn about the types of weapons that soldiers used, the four major battles of WWI and how peace in the world was finally restored.
