8th-grade Prospective Student-Athletes High School Meeting
Civic Project Request
I am writing to seek your support and cooperation for a noble cause that aims to provide assistance to our furry friends in need. As a passionate animal lover and an 8th grade student at Walsh Middle School, I am organizing a donation drive to collect pet supplies for local animal shelters and rescue organizations.
Pets bring us joy, companionship, and unconditional love, and it is our responsibility to ensure their well-being. Unfortunately, many animal shelters and rescue groups face challenges in meeting the needs of the animals under their care due to limited resources. Therefore, I believe that by coming together as a school community, we can make a significant impact and improve the lives of these innocent creatures.
Our goal is to collect a wide range of pet supplies, including but not limited to:
- Dry and canned pet food
- Treats and chew toys
- Leashes, collars, and harnesses
- Bedding and blankets
- Litter boxes and litter
- Cleaning supplies
- Grooming tools
- Pet carriers and crates
- Any other pet-related items you may consider appropriate
Once the donation drive is complete, we will coordinate with local animal shelters and rescue organizations to distribute the collected supplies and make a positive impact on the lives of these animals.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our furry friends and teach our students the importance of compassion, empathy, and responsible citizenship.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I am looking forward to your positive response and support in making this donation drive a resounding success. Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me (meliashpan@gmail.com).
Sincerely,
Melissa Panza
