HEALTH OFFICE UPDATE
Please continue to keep your student(s) home if they are not feeling well. Mora Public Schools will continue to follow the MDH Decision tree. I also ask each and every family to stay home while pending test results. If anyone in the household has a COVID test pending, everyone should stay home until the results are back. Please reach out to me, Anne Grahn District Nurse and Covid-19 Coordinator for any questions. Thank you for your continued help during this pandemic.
Types of allowable face coverings include:
- Paper or disposable mask
- Cloth face mask
- Neck gaiter
- Scarf
- Bandanna
- Religious face covering
The covering should cover the nose and mouth completely, should not be overly tight or restrictive, and should feel comfortable to wear. A face covering is not meant to substitute for social distancing, but is especially important in situations when maintaining a 6-foot distance is not possible. CDC recommends using two layers of fabric when making a cloth face covering. Face coverings that are made of thinner single-layer fabric such as certain types of scarves, neck gaiters, or bandannas may not be as effective for source control.

FOOTBALL TICKET COMMUNICATION
Adult Tickets $6.00
Senior (60+) and students (family members) $4.00
With the guidelines from MDH, we are limited to 250 fans in the stands. Home games Mora will have 150 tickets to sell and our opponent will have 100 tickets. In order to get the football player's families to the games, we are only offering the tickets to the football player's families. Each player will be allowed to buy 3 tickets for FAMILY members on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday prior to the Friday game. Tickets will be purchased in the District Office by the football player and they will need to sign up family members coming to the game. At the gate, we will have a list of people who have purchased tickets. You must show your ID and we will check you off the list.
If there are tickets that have not been bought by Wednesday afternoon, an extra ticket would be offered to senior players to purchase for a family member. This would rotate through the list of seniors.
Tickets will not be sold at the gate. We are very sorry about the limit of fans we can have.
WCMP will be live streaming our home games as well as the game at Moose Lake Willow River.

Tickets for the game at Eveleth Gilbert will go on sale on Monday, October 5 in the District Office. When playing at Eveleth Gilbert, we are allowed 100 tickets. You will need to be on the ticket list and show your ID to get into the game. Football players will be allowed to purchase 2 tickets for Family members. If we have any extra tickets, we will be offering our senior football players one extra ticket. (We will offer extra tickets rotating from game to game in alphabetical order - last name.)
AFTER SCHOOL INTERNET RESOURCE
Starting Tuesday, September 29th from 3:00-6:00 pm, the Mora Public Library will be opening up the community room as a safe space for students to use our WiFi to complete their homework. For the time being, this space will only be available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:00-6:00 pm, but we are hopeful that we will expand those hours as need arises.
The community room is located on the library’s lower level and is large enough to easily allow for social distancing for 20-25 students. It will be supervised by a library staff member and/or volunteer who has undergone ECRL’s background check procedures. Unfortunately, due to library COVID-19 policies, students will be limited to 1 hour in the library, but we are hopeful that even a limited time frame will still be helpful for students.
FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH FOR STUDENTS!
