Our girls basketball and boys soccer teams played at home against Roosevelt last Thursday. Both teams ended the season with a win. Our boys soccer team won the middle school league and our girls basketball came in second. Cheers to our Titan players, Coach Luis, Coach Doolittle, Coach Lopez and all of our staff who made this a great season.
Shout out to our Toll Choir for receiving a Gold Rating at the Knott's Berry Farm End of Year festival last Friday. Thanks to Mrs. Estep for leading the way!
Late last week we received updated guidance from the LA County Department of Public Health. Please see the section below for details regarding adjustments to our quarantine protocols.
The safety of our staff and students is our first priority. If your child is feeling ill or exhibiting common symptoms of COVID-19 please keep them home and call our office.
It's still a great day to be a Titan. We are so glad you are here!
Ms. De Ladurantey

New COVID Guidelines for Quarantine
Glendale Unified School District is required to adhere to all guidance and directives put forth by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
This week, Public Health issued new guidance as it relates to student quarantines. Based on this new guidance, "close contacts" will no longer be identified as who sits within six feet of a positive case. Instead, the entire class will be considered close contacts. Students who are close contacts, regardless of vaccination status, will NOT be required to quarantine and may remain in school provided they meet the following requirements:
(1) Monitor for symptoms for 10 days following the exposure;
(2) Wear a highly protective mask (such as a surgical or KN-95 mask) indoors, except when eating or drinking, for 10 days after the last date of exposure; and
(3) Test with an FDA-authorized viral COVID-19 test (e.g., PCR or Antigen test, including at-home tests) within 3-5 days after the last date of exposure.
More information will be shared with families should a positive case result in a classroom exposure. Thank you for your understanding as we transition to these new directives from Public Health.
