Welcome to the fourth quarter! I hope everyone had a great Spring Break! Students are venturing into the last quarter of school and 3rd through 5th grade students are beginning their state testing. Please wish them luck and make sure students are present and on time each day.

School Safety
- On Friday we practiced our lock down drill. All students and staff were secured with seconds of the alarm being activated.
- Thank you for keeping Bonillas safe by following entrance and exit policies. It is imperative that all parents check in through the front door and use the intercom.
- We are establishing a FAQ page so parents can better understand how we keep all students and staff safe. Stay Tuned!
Dynamite Ditties from Derksen:
- On Friday, March 31st we recognized our Students of the Month for Respect. It was a wonderful celebration and "A Great Day to be a BEAVER!"
- Our March Character Trait will be Responsibility.
- Classes are working hard to earn their Gotcha Cards and Beaver Bucks! They are getting very close to the school goal of 105 Beaver Bucks!! Keep up the great job Beavers!

Summer School Update:
Full STEAM Ahead Summer School is returning this summer! It will be Monday-Thursday from 8:00-12:00 June 5-June 29. Lunch will be served between 12:00-12:30. Transportation will be provided for students who register before May 5. Online registration opens March 27 on ParentVue. If you have any questions please reach out to mackenzie.kiewel@tusd!.org.
