WINDSONG WEEKLY September 24, 2022

WE ARE WINDSONG STRONG!

Principal's Message

Happy Saturday Windsong Ranch Families!

Thank you for another great week at Windsong Ranch! We had our first Read Aloud with Mr. Dunnington this past Tuesday evening and I appreciate all of the families who were able to attend. Don't worry if you were not able to join us, we are going to make this a monthly event so stay tuned for the next one! If you missed it, you can listen to the story, Sticks, here.

We also just completed our first full week of our Raise Craze event! Thank you so much for your participation in encouraging those ACTS OF KINDSNESS from your students! We look forward to another exciting week of Raise Craze 2022!! Thank you WINDSONG RANCH PTO for amazing event!

I am excited for Homecoming week for Prosper High School. If you are new to Prosper, please come out to our Homecoming Parade on Wednesday evening. Wear your Windsong Ranch Spirit Wear so that we can make sure to throw you some candy from the Elementary float. I love seeing our Windsong Ranch families and can't wait to test my candy tossing aim! The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. and winds through downtown Prosper, finishing at PHS.

For the safety of our students, please remember the following:

  • Do not throw candy back to those on floats
  • Do not Follow Floats
  • Do not Hop on Floats
  • Keep out of the street
  • Clean up any trash left behind
  • Monitor all children closely during the parade

Housekeeping at Windsong Ranch:

  • Uber Eats, Door Dash, Grubhub, etc, is not allowed for students. Please refrain from using these services for your student.
  • Please continue to communicate all dismissal changes to the front office by 1:30pm.

  • If your student has forgotten their lunch at home, please drop it off by 10:30am. The front office staff may be unable to get the lunches to students after 10:30. Thank you for understanding.

  • Message from Officer Barrett: Thank you Windsong Ranch families for not parking in handicapped spots unless you have a handicapped placard. Reminder: If you park in a handicapped spot without a handicapped placard you may be subject to receiving a citation.

We hope you have had a restful weekend and are looking forward to another wonderful week here at Windsong Ranch Elementary.
