November? How can it be?
It’s hard for me to believe that tomorrow is November 1st! It seems like this school year is flying by! Maybe it’s because October was such a busy month - 5th grade camp, Red Ribbon week, Book Character dress up day, and Halloween. Whew! Thank you for persevering with a smile on your face and making memories with our students. I know they won’t forget it!
Thank you also for all the work you put in yesterday during your extended planning time. I hope that you found the time valuable and that you were either able to work ahead or take care of some things that have been on your plate for a while. Bryan and I enjoyed our extra time with your students - in community circles, watching a video, or reading with them.
Next week we will meet again to discuss The Gifts of Imperfection. This month, we are reading pages 49-62 and completing Guideposts 1 and 2 in Google Classroom. We discussed submitting private comments instead of public comments, so please feel free to do that. After you have submitted your private comment, just type “done” in the section that says “type your answer.”
Thanks for all you do for students every day!
