Translation of Texts
Most of the translation takes place at an academy in Baghdad called the House of Wisdom. The resident scholars made texts from Hippocrates, Euclid, Galen, and Ptolemy. Once the texts were translated, the Greek texts stimulated further study in to the Muslim world.
Influence
After the Arabic texts were translated into Latin, they were available to European scholars. Much of the science and philosophy that was taught in European universities during the Middle Ages came from the translations.
