Lost and Found
We want to update you on lost and found. Our wonderful students have been working hard on this project. They have reunited items with students if there were names on them. More items will be added soon. Per our handbook, all items from the lost and found were donated over Winter Break.
They are also building the catalog of lost items. Each item will have a number. So far, students have cataloged about 100 items! You can view the items HERE. If you recognize something, HERE is a form you can use to claim it.

Cincinnati Children's Adapt for Life
1/14/2022
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Family Members of Sixth Grade Students,
I’m writing to inform you that facilitators from Cincinnati Children’s Adapt for Life program will be giving a presentation on Wednesday, January 26th to teach students about mental wellness, mental health conditions, and suicide prevention to sixth-grade students.
Research shows suicide is the second leading cause of death among people ages 10-34 years (CDC, 2019). Additionally, the rate of youth suicide (10-24 years) increased 57% over the past decade. Adapt for Life is leading the conversation on mental health to help our children, families, and communities learn skills in mental wellness and curb suicide trends.
Adapt for Life instructs students on the importance of mental wellness and offers healthier behaviors and healthy coping strategies, so students may live their best lives and thrive. Information will be provided to them through various methods such as group activities, mindfulness exercises, videos, individual reflection, and more. The program covers a variety of topics and is structured to accommodate either in-person or remote learning. Engagement begins with student observation and awareness and moves them towards creating a personal plan for tackling stress.
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to bring this program to students. Parents and guardians can contact Lisa Zelvy, Pupil Support Supervisor (contact information below) or Stacey Hoffman, Program Manager for Adapt for Life, at stacey.hoffman@cchmc.org with questions.

Thank You,

We are asking parents to register in advance and indicate the grade level of their child in order to better customize the information session to the audience. Please also submit questions or topics you would like our speakers to cover during the session. A Zoom link will be emailed to registrants. Click here to register.
