Principal's Weekly Update
January 8, 2021
Dear Wamsutta Families,
Good morning.
From the feedback I've received, the students seem to be doing the best they can with fully remote learning. The attendance has been generally good, and teachers feel they are making progress with kids despite the distance. We have one more week like this at least, so I hope we can all continue our efforts next week as well. I know this is very hard on everybody and I want to let everyone know how thankful we are for student and family effort and support. The staff of WMS will continue to try to make the best of this situation, and we hope to be back in person as soon as possible.
This week, I have information for families who would like to participate in the lunch and breakfast program who cannot get to the High School for pickup, invites to a Be Heard meeting and a Bias-Related Behavior Focus Group, and the PTO meeting link for Tuesday.
