Regardless of whether we were tucking into a French dip sandwich in a Victorian semi or enjoying a sit-down dinner and cocktails with friends, it's safe to say Torontonians weren't short of fabulous food options.
We asked Toronto's best chefs, restaurateurs and food experts to share their favourite new restaurants from 2017. Here are their top picks:

MARKET WATCH
January , 2018 -- Toronto Real Estate Board President Tim Syrianos announced that Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported 92,394 sales through TREB's MLS® System in 2017. This total was down 18.3 per cent compared to the record set in 2016.
Record sales in Q1 were followed by a decline in Q2 and Q3 after the Ontario Fair Housing Plan (FHP) was announced. The pace of sales picked up in Q4, as the impact of the FHP started to wane, and some buyers arguably brought forward their home purchase in response to the new OSFI stress test guidelines effective January 1, 2018.

Fourth Quarter Housing Market Trends Seal 2017 as ‘the Year of the Condo’
TORONTO, January 10, 2018 – According to the Royal LePage House Price Survey[1] released today, Canada’s residential real estate market saw strong, but slowing year-over-year price growth in the fourth quarter of 2017. While year-over-year aggregate appreciation remained high in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Greater Vancouver, two-storey and bungalow home values softened in the GTA, slightly declining on a quarter-over-quarter basis. Meanwhile, in both Greater Vancouver and the GTA, condominium prices continued to outpace all other property types, primarily due to growing affordability constraints within these markets.
