My credentials include Generalist EC-4, 4-8 and K-12 Principal Certification as well as working independently to become proficient in Spanish.
As the attached resume will support, I have experience at multiple levels of leadership that include organizing textbooks, developing campus schedules, committee chairs, leading professional development and technology integration. In addition to my diverse skill set, I enjoy working in a high stakes, high stress, collaborative environment where it takes motivation and guidance for the staff and students alike in order for the campus to succeed.
My greatest strengths include: collaborative leadership, strategic planning, empowering those I work with to develop their leadership and instructional skills, data analysis, technology, math and science.
I believe that a crucial element of school success depends on the creation of a school-community relationship that shares a vision for the students it serves. As an assistant principal, I aspire to be a guiding member of a school culture and educational program that is focused on student learning, development and growth. Families are under tremendous challenges today, and I seek to foster positive behavior, student and faculty teamwork, and cooperation in the school environment. I will initiate and lead programs that foster clear and concise information both internally to professional staff and externally to students and parents.
I anticipate the opportunity to meet and discuss, in detail, how my diverse skills and experience will allow me to make a valuable contribution to your campus.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Sincerely,
