Thank you for your outstanding effort, kindness, excellence, and selflessness.
Carole Scheder - Went above and beyond to help a student not even in one of her classes. The woman is golden to the core.
All who helped with student property pick-up (take 2) - Thanks to all who helped in the successful student property pick up!!!
Rachel Hanson - Brought the chicken strong
Lori Cress - Went out of her way to deliver special items to student's homes.
Beth Ombati - Help problem solve and give input when putting together lessons and figuring out technology.
Duane Jourdeans - Is an awesome teacher to all of our virtual students and is very much appreciated!
Chris Buckel - Sent me an email just saying good morning because he knows it's part of my regular routine that I miss at school! :)
Tammy Merth - Can't get enough of her positive attitude- I really miss seeing her at school everyday!
Travis Madigan - Provided excellent transition services to one of our virtual 8th graders who will be at SCC HS next year!
Jenna Scheithauer - Giving me a much needed, verbal hug at a safe distance, and solid life advice as per usual :)
Chris Deno - Thank you for fixing our Seniors grades through TeacherEase! You are so helpful.
Kurt Soderberg and Administration - You have handled, and continue to handle, this difficult time with grace, compassion, and empathy, especially for our seniors. Thank you!! Your efforts are SO appreciated!!
Lori Cress - Saved me a trip to Hammond and met a Scholarship providers mother to collect money, Thank you!!
SCC Bus Drivers - Delivering meals and homework to our students during this Covid-19 time.
Carolyn Lent - Working the SCC meal delivery system from top to bottom, side to side, and in between!
Courtney Hawkins - Thank you, Courtney, for taking the lead on working with Russ Davis and the local student CTSO's on securing extra treats for the families getting food through the foodservice program.
SCC School Board and Admin - Willing to listen to the many groups of employees at the Meet and Confer each year.
Gretchen Rozeboom - Thank you, Gretchen, for purchasing supplies and helping our CTE group put together vegetable planting bags for our local families in need. Also, your help in stapling flyers to lunch bags was much appreciated.
Food Service/Lunch Packing Crew - Thank you to all of the ladies in the kitchen that helped separate and pack all of the extra food that was provided from the CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) groups for families receiving lunches. Without your help, we would not have been able to make it work, so I appreciate all of you!
Spec. Ed. and IDS Teachers and Paras - You guys put in a lot of time and effort into your students and sometimes at your own expense. I know you don't hear it enough (and some will never show it) but you are appreciated by the staff, students, and parents. Thank you for being awesome!
Jason Koele - You are an awesome person. I will miss you greatly.
Travis Madigan (and his Dad) - Brought me a couple of bottle jacks so I could make a repair to my home.
Amy Hueg - Your dedication, passion, and organization as you prepare yet another wonderful yearbook is amazing. Adjusting to the closure and figuring it out is very much appreciated. Can't wait to see it! Thank you for leading the students and modeling patience and excellence.
Steph Posta - Handled what could have been a very tough conversation with a parent. Well done!
Chad Konsela & Dan Ruud - Constantly working behind the scenes to support students, staff, and families. Thank you for always seeking options to improve our processes.
Heather Jourdeans, Emily Timmers, Cami Stansbury, Duane Jourdeans, Chris Buckel, Carole Scheder, John Koehler, Tovah Carson, Jen Staidl, Adam Sheldon, Megan Elmhorst, & Nic Been - Attended a 3-hour virtual training to learn strategies that will help our students process and understand non-fiction reading passages. Getting better each day. Thank you!
