Welcome to the BHS Express
A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
October 7, 2022
Andrea Conner, BHS Principal
Hello Bulldog Families.
I had a chance to walk through the future Batavia High School building this week and felt excitement as everything is taking shape. I found myself thinking about “this time next year” and what the future holds for Batavia Schools. I’m most excited to see our high school students in these wide, open hallways with natural light and to imagine them in the updated art, music and science labs.
Take a minute to read through the important dates below and sign up for the upcoming parent/teacher conferences on October 26. Our counseling department has also provided several important updates concerning Financial Aid Night and the Clermont County College Fair at Eastgate Mall. It’s important to take advantage of these opportunities to help you and your students transition into post-secondary planning.
Enjoy the fall weather and the upcoming weekend.
In service to our Bulldogs.

STUDENT SHOUT OUT
Senior Emma Wallace named Rotary Student of the Month for October
Batavia High School is pleased to announce that senior Emma Wallace was honored as the October Rotary Student of the Month on Tuesday, October 4. Emma represents the qualities of an outstanding student/leader that Batavia High School values.
Emma was nominated for this award because of her involvement in multiple programs at school. She is an active member of the Hope Squad, is a National Honor Society officer, and is a leader in the Batavia High School band program.
Many of Emma’s teachers commented that they’ve enjoyed watching Emma grow in her confidence as a leader and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this Bulldog. Congratulations, Emma!
