The Holy Spirit within us is the desire inside all of us that wants to keep connecting, relating, and communing. It isn’t above us. It isn’t beyond us—it is within us. It’s as available as our breath, and that’s why the Risen Christ gives the Holy Spirit by breathing upon the disciples. He’s saying, in effect, “Here it is! Here it is! Can you breathe in what I have breathed out?”

As we grow on the journey, we’ll begin to experience that breath, that Spirit, as if it is the very air. It’s everywhere, all the time, and we can’t live one minute without it. Isn’t it amazing that air, the thing that’s most essential, most invisible to most people is the one thing that’s everywhere all the time and free? The Holy Spirit likewise has been given to us freely.

Hi Everyone

A short but very enjoyable week! It has been rewarding to see fewer children and staff away because of illness. Our staff professional development day on Tuesday with numeracy guru Paul Swan went very well, and the fruits of our labours will continue to influence the work we do with our children in all of our classrooms.

Winter Interschool Sports Carnival on Thursday! Our upper primary children look forward to a day full of excitement and challenge. It is a wonderful event. Our staff have invited the children to train before school for netball, football and soccer and they responded with such enthusiasm! Thank you to the team for training the children. and thank you to the parents and guardians who get them there. it should be a great day!

Have a good weekend.

  • Mrs Bec Campbell takes long service for term 3 and Mrs Lauren Boland will take Kindy for that time

  • Mrs Renate Field takes long service for term 3 and Mrs Liz Laverock will step back into the Siena teacher role for that time. Liz’ role will be undertaken by Mrs Sune Pyne

To everyone taking leave or leaving, we thank you so much for your contribution to an amazing first semester! We sincerely wish you every happiness and success ahead.

We have made arrangements for induction and handover before the end of term with our new incoming staff, who will also be spending quite some time in the company of their children. We look forward to welcoming them to Holy Rosary.

Thank you to all of our HR community who donated to the Vinnies Blanket appeal. This is a huge help to those who are cold this winter. The year 6 Council Groups have been working hard this term in the classrooms, the Canteen garden, preparing for NAIDOC week and supporting Vinnies. Have a look at their magnificent sunflowers in the Veritas Garden.
