Student Drop Off & Pick Up
No parking on Cynthia Ave and Nolan Lane in front of the first 4 houses on the north or south side of the street
On Wayne Ave drop off must be before bus lanes and cars CANNOT PARK or STAY in their spot. Cars must keep moving.
Attendance and Tardies
Attendance at school everyday is extremely important in ensuring your student's success in school.
It is important to call the school office at 630-469-7720 before 9:30 AM to report the absence. For your convenience, the notification may be left on the school answering machine before 8 AM.
If children arrive after 8:50, parents must enter the office with their child and sign them in and not drop them off. Any child who is tardy three or more times will receive a referral and office detention.
PBIS - Positive Behavior
November/December PBIS Focus-Cleaning and Lining up from Specials and Lunch quickly and quietly
Being RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE and SAFE while lining up. Each class that promotes these positive behaviors will receive a Golden Paw. Every 2 golden paws = 1 turkey in November and 1 tree in December. The class at each grade with the most turkeys and trees will be announced at the December PBIS Assembly.
Volunteers
In an effort to continuously protect the safety of our students, we will be asking all volunteers to provide a copy of their driver's license to the office, one time, in order to compile a list of volunteers who will be interacting with students. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
News from the Nurse
Reminder all new students have 30 days from the date of entry to provide a physical and immunization dates.
Flu season will be upon us soon. Now is the time to get your child a flu shot if you are so inclined.
Please keep your child home if they have had a fever of 100 or more(remember, this is before medication), vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours.
You should continue to check your student(s) on a regular basis for head lice and report it to the school. They may return as soon as they have been treated.
