Thursday's Thoughts
March 1, 2018
Can you believe it is March already? It is that lovely time of the school year when it seems your students are bombing assessments, behavior is taking a turn for the worse, and anxiety steps in as testing is right around the corner. Let's speak truth....you have given 100% to your students, loved your kids hard, and you continue to look for different ways so that they will "get it." No need to worry or stress. Let's put on our obstacle repellent and stay the course. We've got this, and we have proven over and over that we can do it and do it well. Love you all!
Pennies for Patients
Our Pennies for Patients assembly is set for tomorrow morning. Our plan is to begin with 3-5 around 8:30. We will call you as soon as we are ready. We may video the assembly for K-2 if the presenter cannot do the presentation twice. I will let K-2 know for sure in the morning.
Faculty Meeting
Please remember to plan to be present at our faculty meeting Wednesday, March 7th.

Golden Feathers
I will place more golden feathers in your boxes tomorrow. :-)
Blessing Box
Thank you to those of you who have brought things for our Blessing Box. I love to see our students bringing notes and other things to add as well. I hope this will encourage our students to serve others. Please add to the Blessing Box as you feel led. I have placed school supplies along with water bottles, tooth brushes, snacks, etc. in the box. Anything is welcome!
Guided Reading
Continue to meet daily with your groups implementing the phonics piece and using leveled readers. This consistency of instruction will move our kids and give them the skills they need to grow as readers.
