Gator Tales
Grace Episcopal School Vol. 31, April 29, 2016
A Message From Dr. Ricks
We are having a wonderful time at school as we head into the home stretch. Thank you so much for what was an amazing Teacher Appreciation Week. The small tokens and happys were greatly welcomed. We love instructing your children, and we are thankful that we could slow down and appreciate how meaningful it is for us to teach at Grace Episcopal School.
ITBS testing was very successful; the students took it seriously, and I have no doubt that their performance will be positive. We had a great turn-out for the first annual Gator Dash last Saturday at Forsythe Park. We had almost 100 runners, and there is no doubt that next year's event will be even more successful!
Thank you to Pelican State Wholesale (The Waller and The Colvin Families) for their HUGE donation of paper, pencils, construction paper, etc to the school. At this time of year when supplies run low, it was a tremendous boost to our teachers and our classrooms.
The students are excited about next week and the many fun events that we have planned...Spirit Week, Aloha Pep Rally, Book Fair, and Field Day. It is hard to believe that April is coming to a close and that we only have about 4 weeks left until the end of school. It has been a blessed year.
Warmly,
Dr. Beth J. Ricks
