6th Grade Electives
Get Ready to Forecast
Let the Next Adventure Begin
Welcome Wildcats!
We want you to be aware of what electives are available and how choosing electives for next year works. We have a variety of electives, and we try our hardest to accommodate everyone's choices as much as possible. When the time comes, we will ask that you select your top three choices so we have back-up choices in place. We will work with your student's 5th grade teacher to assist in getting your selections to us by the end of this school year so we can formulate a schedule for the upcoming school year.
In addition to thinking about electives, we hope you will attend our 6th Grade Preview Night and look ahead to other upcoming events. I look forward to working with you all in the near future! Welcome to LaCreole!

Leadership
Leadership 6
The primary focus for this class is to emphasize the significance of service as key in leadership. This quote could be our class motto: “If service is beneath you, leadership is beyond you.” On the first day of class we highlight the three T’s that should define the priorities of a leadership student.
o Task-oriented - students are ready and willing to serve LaCreole Middle School and their community
o Trustworthy - students demonstrate respect, responsibility, and integrity regardless of teacher supervision
o Teamwork - students are eager to work as a close-knit team accomplishing goals together through service projects, staff or student appreciation projects, or by participating in student council meetings
