Research

1. Where does this energy source come from?

Uranium (Non Reusable metal made in various parts of the world)

2. What equipment is needed to collect this energy source?

Nuclear fission, heat water to make steam, steam turns turbines, turbines turn generators, electrical power. (Nuclear Power Plant)

3. How does this energy source impact the environment?

produces huge amounts of energy with small amounts of fuel, though it is reliable it costs a lot of money to make sure it’s safe and if it does go wrong a nuclear accident can be a major disaster, releasing hot water into streams which can harm our fish

4. What are three positive things about using this energy source?

Not expensive to make, does not contribute to greenhouse effect, produces small amounts of waste

5. What are three negative thing about using this energy source?

very dangerous, difficult to keep safe from earthquakes, floods, terrorist, etc

Country

Nuclear power has it’s pros and cons. It produces huge amounts of energy with small amounts of fuel. It doesn’t contribute to the greenhouse effect and produces small amounts of waste. Considering the population of 49.45 that’s avery good thing because it’s not polluting the air of the people in Slovakia. Though it does cause a lot of money to make sure that their aren’t any nuclear disasters it’s very environment friendly.
