MATH

Unit 5:

Monday-Lesson 6-1

Tuesday-Lesson 6-2

Wednesday-Lesson 6-3

Thursday-Lesson 6-4

Friday-Lesson 6-6

Note: We have switched for math now and some students may not be on this math schedule. They may still be finishing Unit 4. I have the faster pace students so we are starting the next math unit. Every student needs to be completed with Unit 4 by the end of the grading period.

Please make sure your child is practicing their math facts at home. Addition 0-12, Subtraction 0-12, and Multiplication 0-12. I suggest using Flashcards, Flash to Pass (App.), or print free pages online. We give the students 50 problems to complete in 3 minutes. If you need to know what your child is working on, send me an email.

READING

We will be pretesting Unit 2 this week. Then, students will be switching for reading groups once we get the data collected and groups made. This week will be a review on all the Unit 1 skills.

WRITING

Students will be finishing his or her narrative rough draft this week and publishing them in the computer lab on Friday.

Social Studies

We will continue working on Unit 1-Communities
