Student Leadership's Basket Raffle Fundraiser
Donations are Due Wednesday, February 20th
Hello Prairie Point Families!
The Student Leadership Team is once again planning a fundraiser for families in need. We will have themed baskets at the Family Fun Fair on February 22nd that will be raffled off to assist different families in our community and our Kids Helping Kids project.
Each classroom will have a basket theme - listed on the back - and we are asking families to donate a gift to their child’s classroom, corresponding with that theme. You can go big or small and you can be as creative as you want! Gift Cards work too!
We need all donations by February 20th in order for Student Leadership to put the baskets together before the Fun Fair. You can send the item(s) to school with your child or drop them off at the school office with your child’s name and teacher attached. If you have big baskets or containers at home that you can spare, we would gladly accept any donations.
With your help, we can have a successful basket raffle!
Thank you,
Student Leadership Team
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Mockenhaupt (630) 636-3605 or Mrs. Paluch (630) 636-3625.

Cold Weather reminder - Recess
Now that the cold weather and snow are upon us please remember that while we won't have outdoor recess on days when the real feel is ten degrees or below, please be sure your child is dressed appropriately for the cold weather including layers/snow pants if necessary, a winter coat, hats, gloves, and boots. As a reminder, students who do not have snow pants on outdoor recess days are not allowed in the snow.
Gym Shoe Reminder
We realize it is a little tricky this year to remember what days P.E. are because of the A,B,C,D,E schedule. Therefore, it is recommended that a pair of gym shoes are left at school so your child is always prepared. Please be sure the shoes have laces or Velcro.
Thank you,
