Dear Park Village Community,
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a restful and rejuvenating week. With the winter season upon us, it's crucial to prioritize health and wellness. Remind your child(ren) about the importance of washing his/her hands, getting sufficient sleep and proper nutrition, and limiting screen-time. Stying healthy leads to more days in school, and more days in school lead to more academic and social growth.
Wishing you a smooth and productive return to the school routine!
Warm regards,
Amie Tillman

PVES Pick-Up Table (Forgotten Items) Policy
Beginning November 27, 2023 PVES Office Staff will no longer contact classrooms, teachers or students to notify them of forgotten items that hbeen delivered. This includes:
Outerwear
Lunches, snacks, water bottles
Homework
Band instruments
Library books
Chromebooks
P.E. equipment
Please understand that this is due to the high volume of forgotten items on a daily basis, and our desire to minimize disruption to our front office staff and to our classroom instructional time. A positive side to this new process, it will provide an opportunity for our students to learn responsibility, as well as resiliency. At night, you can help your student prepare for school by having all school items in one place and easy to access on the way out the door.
Should you wish to drop off a forgotten item, you may leave it on our Pick-up Cart, located directly outside of the front office. Please leave a post-it note with your child’s name, grade level, and teacher’s name on the item.
Items that you wish to deliver to teachers may be left on the Pick-up Cart. Please email the teacher in advance to make arrangements.
The Pick-up Cart will be outside daily from 8:45am until 10:00am.
After 10:00am, the Pick-up Cart will be taken inside, onto campus. Students will be able to check the Pick-up Cart for any forgotten item during their recess or lunch times.
Please remind your student(s) frequently that they can check the Pick-up Cart to see if an item was delivered. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain the strong educational foundation that PVES was built upon.
*Office Staff will not assume any responsibility for items left on the Pick-up Cart.
