As a follow up to our field trip....
Why are trees important? What are some things that trees can give us?
As Writers, we can include who is in the story, where the story takes place and what happens in the story.
Vincent is sharing who is in his story, where it is taking place and what is happening.

As Readers, we can read certain words quick as a snap.
We can use the pictures and the first letter/initial sound to help us discover unknown words.
As Mathematicians, we can compose (add) numbers.

Bryson and Luke are matching numbers 1-30 with the corresponding puzzle pieces that has the correct number of pictures.
Aiden and Seleena completed the Number Train 1-50.
As Engineers, we can problem solve as we build.

We welcome all of our kindergarten friends and families to send in pictures of family fun. We will have your child share his/her pictures with our classmates on the SmartBoard. Sometimes, we might include the pictures in our weekly Smore newsletter.
