Spring is in the air, and the neighborhood is beginning to bustle with kids at play, people working in their yards, and backyard barbecues!

The new playground is open and is already being enjoyed by so many of our little residents! In the coming weeks, keep your eyes out for some additional playground pieces that are made for the littlest ones!

After reviewing information about clubhouse reservations, utilities costs, and clubhouse maintenance, the HOA Board has established a reservation policy. In order to allow all residents an equal opportunity to use the clubhouse facilities, a reservation limit will now be in place. Each household will now have the opportunity to rent the clubhouse 3 times a calendar year at no cost. Any additional dates requested will require a reservation fee of $100.

These dates do not include neighborhood events, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Back to School Pool Party, Christmas Party, etc. It also does not include events where all neighbors are invited (such as the new "Berry Creek Luncheon", a monthly potluck lunch for residents to socialize).

We hope this will allow more residents to enjoy the clubhouse for their social events!

Work will soon begin on the sidewalk and drain on Cypress Mill Ave. As the rainy season begins, please remember to clean up all grass clippings, leaves, and yard debris to keep all of our drains clear!

The fitness room door is still in need of repair, so please be careful locking/unlocking it with your key. It take a little pulling and jiggling to get the door lock to work.

The clubhouse will also see some improvements in the next few months. A local inspector informed us that the original clubhouse roof will need replaced this year, and the board is looking into insurance coverage and estimates. The audio system inside the clubhouse will also be replaced with a new audio receiver. The new receiver will control the radio and TV, and will also have more ports for computers, iPods, etc.

Please remember that HOA dues were due March 1. Thank you to all the residents who have paid their 2018 HOA dues. Your dues help with common area landscaping, pool and fountain maintenance, repairs and improvements. Residents that have not paid their dues are unable to reserve the clubhouse or use the pool and fitness room.
