Welcome to the yellow team!
Meet your morale captains
Emily Brumfield
Year: Junior
Major: Nursing
Hometown: Parkersburg, WV
Favorite Dance Move: Flipping my hair
Best song to dance to while no one’s watching: Closer by The Chainsmokers
Why I am FTK: In a world full of hate and darkness, there are people who shed a light on this world and come together and dance poorly for a much greater good. There’s truly nothing more rewarding than working with a great group of people towards a common goal, and that is helping kids be...KIDS! Helping make their days a little brighter, smiles a little bigger, and making their lives a little easier is all I could ever hope for. I’m honored to be able to give back by simply dancing for those who can’t and fundraising for RMHC and the children and families affected.

Ryan Capal
Year: Junior
Major: Communication Studies
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH
Favorite Dance Move: Sprinkler
Best song to dance like no one is watching: Come on Eileen: Dexys Midnight Runners
Why I am FTK: I'm FTK because no child should have to fight alone. Being able to dance and help children and their families at the same time is something I will always hold near and dear to my heart. These families go through so much and being able to help in any way possible and seeing our hard work pay off just puts a smile on my face everyday.

Taylor Dilley
Name: Taylor Dilley
Year: Senior
Major: Strategic Communication
Hometown: Upper Sandusky
Favorite Dance Move: A classic jazz square
Best Song to Dance to While No One is Watching: Shake it Off by Florence and the Machine
Why are you FTK: I’m FTK because it’s important that we support causes beyond ourselves. College students are sometimes known to be selfish, so what better way to combat that than by supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities? We raise money to keep children and their families together when they need it most.

What is a Morale Captain?
We know 12-hours of dancing can seem pretty daunting. That’s why you have a Morale Captain! These students will be your guide throughout the day of BobcaThon, and pump you all up, or "boost morale," throughout the rest of the year. They will be teaching the Line Dance on stage each hour, bustin' moves with you and the rest of your team, dressin' to impress (in their color, of course), and making sure you're all having the time of your lives!
What is a Color Team?
Although you may have already signed up with a team of your own on Firstgiving, the day of the Dance Marathon you will be placed on a "Color Team." This puts you in a bigger group of the Bobcat Family to bond with, do fundraisers with, participate in color wars with, and much much more! In addition, you are more than welcome, and encouraged, to get decked out in the color that you have been placed with on the day of the dance marathon!
What are Color Wars?
We're all about friendly competition here at BobcaThon, so throughout the year, and the day of DM, you will have MANY opportunities to accumulate Color War points. You can get points throughout the year by attending dancer meetings, hosting fundraisers, fun games, being an involved Dancer and fundraiser with BobcaThon, etc.! The possibilities are endless! Be on the lookout for news about opportunities to earn Color War points for your team!
