What Happened in October?
Upper Elementary Fruit and Vegetable Bar
This month we added a fruit and veggie bar so the students can decide how many servings of our fresh produce they want with their lunch.
Pumpkin Day
For pumpkin day this month we celebrated with pumpkin pie!
Pumpkins
To celebrate the season we have decorated with mini pumpkins in every kitchen. See how many you can find!
Halloween Dirt Pudding
We celebrated not only with a candy corn count, where the kids won a prize for guessing the correct amount, but also through giving every student our special dirt pudding perfect for the Halloween season!
Kitchen Staff Costumes
Our kitchens really got into the Halloween spirit and wore a team costume. At the Upper Elementary our amazing kitchen staff dressed as condiments.

In November...
We will be focusing on bringing a memorable and delicious Thanksgiving Lunch to all students here at Northwest and daVinci. In the meantime, here is our favorite pumpkin pie recipe straight from our kitchen to yours!
