November 5, 2021
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Progress Reports will go home the week of November 15th. It is hard to believe we are almost halfway through Q2, so please continue to check your child's Canvas to ensure they are completing assignments. If you have questions or concerns we are only an email or phone call away.
Dress Code and cell phones have become quite an issue over the last few weeks. Please help us by reviewing the below expectations with your child. Students were told during lunch that they will not be allowed to go outside if they are not in dress code.
Dress Code will remain the same which includes no hoodies.; however, students may wear jackets or coats but without hoods. This is a safety issue when students cover their heads (difficult to identify on camera if needed). The jackets or coats may have a logo. Students should wear a collared shirt with no logo at all times and it should be visible. This change in our dress code will remain through the cooler months.
Cell phones should be powered off at 8:20 am and placed in bookbags. Phones are not to be used at all during the day. If you have an emergency and need to talk with your child please call Ms. Drew at 803-981-1500 for assistance. Phones cause issues during the day because students are on social media, texting, etc. instead of learning content. I appreciate your support in this matter.
