Happy Thanksgiving!
Our Clark Middle School staff is thankful for our wonderful, smart, talented students who fill us with pride and make us laugh daily as we get to watch them grow and learn new things. They impress us with their intelligence, their ability to create, and their compassion for others. This semester our students showed us they are ready to lead by planning for and performing for over 1,000 people in our Veterans’ Day program! They hosted our veterans and families, performed musical tributes, practiced public speaking, and designed cover art. All of them were respectful audience members to one another as well. We are all so proud of them! Additionally, they’ve shown us their level of compassion (and their spirit of competition) by donating over 2,000 pairs of socks to those in need. We are thankful for our students’ parents as well—who encourage them to be responsible and bold in their educational journey. Enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving with your sweet, corky, talented children, your family and your friends!
Clark Teacher of the Year!
Congratulations to Ms. Conklin for being named Clark's Teacher of the Year! Ms. Conklin works tirelessly to find new methods and techniques to engage students and promote learning. She is always available for guidance and instruction for both students and fellow teachers. Ms. Conklin is a true blessing to have here at Clark!
FEF Grant Winners!
Congratulations to our Frisco Education Fund Grant winners Ms. Howard, Ms. Coldiron, and Ms. Sears. Our Clark Texas History students will get to visit the Alamo using augmented reality! See the article here.
PRIDE Store Coming!
Our first PRIDE store of the year is coming! This is the time students can cash in their Dojo points for fun items like snacks, posters, books, and gadgets. Each store will be held at the end of the day. Sixth grade store will be open on November 28th, seventh grade store will be open November 29th, and eighth graders will get to shop on November 30th. Students may check their Dojo balances on their Dojo accounts.
