HEB Plastic Bag Drive Results

Rosa Parks Rockets donated 6,939 bags!!! The grade level with the most donations was first grade with 1,749 bags. We are so proud of our Rockets and their efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle!

Bus Driver Appreciation Week

This week we are celebrating our bus drivers and all they do to get our Rockets to and from school safely each day. Please take a moment to thank your bus driver this week and let them know how much they are appreciated!

RPE Celebrates Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of Mexican heritage, culture, and pride. Students and staff will participate in activities in honor of this important day. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Cafeteria Staff Appreciation Day

Friday, May 3rd is Cafeteria Staff Appreciation Day. Our cafeteria staff prepares healthy meals for our students for breakfast and lunch. We appreciate the time they take to ensure our students are fed and ready to learn!

Love and Dance Spring Show

SAVE THE DATE: Field Day 2019

Field Day 2019 will take place on Friday, May 17th. If you think you may attend for any reason (even if you are not volunteering), you must have a completed background check on file for this school year. This can be completed on the FBISD website: https://www.fortbendisd.com/Page/830. Please complete this process as soon as possible to be sure it is processed before Field Day.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Online Registration

Pre-K and Kindergarten online registration opened on April 1st and will close on May 17th at 4:00 p.m. If you or someone you know has a student eligible for Pre-K (must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2019) or Kindergarten (must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2019), please visit https://www.fortbendisd.com/newstudent. Here you will find the required documentation needed to complete registration. Students must meet certain eligibility for the Pre-K program. Please find more information at https://www.fortbendisd.com/Page/1029. Once you have submitted the online application, please call the front desk at 281-634-6390 to schedule an appointment to bring in all necessary documentation and complete the registration process. We look forward to welcoming new and returning families!

Parking Lot Safety

To ensure the safety and security of our students we are asking all parents who drop off and pick up their child/children in a vehicle to follow the parking lot procedures below:


  • Do not exceed 15 miles per hour
  • Avoid using the bus line
  • Do not pass other vehicles
  • Watch for pedestrians at all times
  • Do not use cell phones


Thanks for your support and attention to this important matter. We love our students and families and want to ensure their safety and security!

Morning Arrival

Students must be in their classroom by 8:10 a.m. or they will be counted tardy for the day. Morning announcements will begin at 8:10 a.m. For the safety of your child or children, please do not drop them off before 7:30 a.m. There is no adult supervision before 7:30 a.m.

Snacks

All classes will have a scheduled snack time. Please send only healthy, dry, finger-food type snacks with your child as we are still working during snack time.

Visitors

Visitors who come to see students on campus, must be listed in Skyward or must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. If you need to update your child's record, please contact Marisol Corona, ADA clerk, at 281-634-6390.

Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Online Registration Begins

Monday, April 1st, 8am to Friday, May 17th, 4pm

This is an online event.

Families can register prekindergarten and kindergarten students for the 2019-2020 school year beginning on April 1st and ending May 17th at 4:00 p.m. Online registration can be completed at https://www.fortbendisd.com/Page/85. Please call the front office at 281-634-6390 if you have any questions.


Note: Applications submitted before April 1st for the 2019-2020 school year will be automatically deleted.
