April 2022 Edition
Dear APA Families,
HELLO SPRING! We hope you all had a safe and restful spring break. Now, it's time to get back to work! Spring represents renewal and rejuvenation, and we only have two more months left of school! So, let's use this rejuvenation to finish the school year strong!
We know it's getting closer to summer break and everyone is ready for campfires and s'mores, but please make sure you and your child are reviewing APA's dress code expectations. We will continue to enforce the dress code the remainder of the school year. Dress code expectations are listed below.
Spring pictures will be April 1 from 8:30-noon at both 29th and 22nd street. This will be available for all PRE-PAID students. Students are allowed to be out of dress code with a prepaid envelope or receipt for photos. Outfits must be appropriate or students will be asked to change into spirit wear. Pre-pay via myLifetouch.com and send any questions to brue@goapa.org.
O-Flights return this month! O-Flights are scheduled during the week of April 4th through April 8th at the Anderson Airport. Parents and family members are welcome to watch O-Flights. Schedules will be posted on Google Classroom. Be sure to remind your child to check their Google Classroom.
Lastly, please click on the PDF files below if you are interested in viewing the end of school year calendar of events and next year's school calendar.

Our goal is to earn $1,000 through Box Tops this year to help purchase much needed supplies for our students. Here’s how you can help:
- Download the Box Tops app on your phone and follow instructions on how to set up an account and sign up to support our school.
- Then, just shop as you normally would.
- Use the app to snap a photo of your receipt within 14 days of purchase. It’ll automatically identify any Box Tops participating products and you’ll give back to our school with each product you buy. Twice a year, we’ll get a check!
Help us give students what they need to succeed. Let’s see how much we can earn!
