HILLARY CLINTON AND THE ECONOMY
See how Hillary Clinton stands on this key issue.
“We’ve got to create more good-paying jobs, we’ve got to raise incomes. We’ve got to give young people chances to start small businesses, to be entrepreneurs, to chart their own future,” Clinton said.
"Yes, the economy is rigged in favor of those at the top," Clinton said. "I know a lot of Americans are angry at the economy and for good cause. Americans haven't had a raise in 15 years," Clinton said, adding that she wanted to do more to ensure that "Wall Street never wrecks Main Street again."
"We need to raise pay, create good-paying jobs, and build an economy that works for everyone—not just those at the top. I’ll cut taxes for the middle class, raise the minimum wage, and ensure the wealthiest pay their fair share. I’ll invest in infrastructure and education. And I’ll help parents balance work and family."
