Winter Break Service Opportunities
Winter Break is a great time to explore the many ways to serve God's Kingdom through the Corporal Works of Mercy.
- feed the hungry
- shelter the homeless
- clothe the naked
- visit the sick and imprisoned
- bury the dead
- give alms to the poor
Closet Cleaning at SPX
The Blessed Energizer Bunny (also known as Sr Jean Catherine) is cleaning out closets again! This time it is the storage closet in the school basement that holds all of our banquet/dinner/gathering supplies.
Participants will be reorganizing and doing an inventory of all stock.
Pizza, beverage & snack provided.

This is a small space so participants will be limited to 5 people.

This is a bit of a stretch, isn't it? But helping with this work makes it possible for our parish to build community through events and building community helps people share their lives with one another.

Homesteads for Hope
The teens will be cleaning up the greenhouse and making tin can garden lanterns that can be used at the farm.
All volunteers are asked to register by clicking the RSVP below or emailing barb.legere@dor.org by MONDAY, February 18 and will need a waiver signed and brought with them.
Please bring a bag lunch. Hot cocoa will be provided.
Homesteads will plan on heating the greenhouse, but it still will be chilly, please dress for outdoors.

Welcome Special Olympics Athletes to Rochester
We are not able to organize a group event this year but if you follow the links below your family can take part in this wonderful opportunity next weekend in Rochester!

- Floor Hockey Set Up
- Opening Ceremonies Fans or Social Ambassadors
- Saturday Service Volunteers
- Cross Country Skiing
- Snowshoe (with note that no snow location is Swain)
- Floor Hockey Breakdown
- Alpine Skiing
- If group only wants to be Fans, we will take Fans at any venue
