MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL CARTER
It has been an amazing first FULL week of school. Teachers and students have been working really hard on learning and practicing all campus and classroom expectations and procedures. At this point, it's important that all parents are also aware of all the campus expectations and procedures. All campus expectations have been put in place for the safety of our staff and students. Below are a few expectations that every parent should be aware of and are required to follow. Just as a reminder, the campus will be open for parents to each lunch with their students starting Tuesday, September 7th. All visitors will be required to provide their driver's license before being allowed on the campus. The safety of our staff and students is always our top priority.

OUTSIDE LUNCH DELIVERIES NOT ALLOWED
LSCH does not allow outside deliveries from places such as Door Dash, etc. If your student forgot their lunch and one has to be delivered to the school, you or another family member will have to deliver it.
ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL REMINDERS AND PROCEDURES
A large part of the effectiveness and safety of our campus arrival and dismissal procedures rely heavily on the LSCH parents. For the safety of all staff and students please follow all staff directions when given. Below are some important reminders.
Arrival - Doors open every morning at 7:25. Students ARE NOT allowed to be dropped off prior to 7:25. DO NOT stop and drop off students in front of the campus. The drop-off area is on the West side of the building. Staff members will be outside to remind parents of these procedures.
Dismissal - Dismissal starts at 3:15 every day. As you enter into the one-way parking lot, be aware of our staff and directions. As you pass the exit-only location, there are TWO lanes that open up for student pick-up. Please utilize both lanes as this will speed up the dismissal process. Make sure to have your car hang tags at all times as this is the requirement to pick up your student.
Please email your teacher and/or front office if you make changes to your after-school pick-up by 2 pm. We will follow the default dismissal arrangements for your child; such as daycare buses, walkers, and Powerhouse if we do not receive communication from you by 2 pm. Front office contact information: Phone: 972-293-2825 Email: krystin.brown@lifeschools.net
