Olympic Hills Family Newsletter
January 20, 2022
Olympic Hills families,
Thank you for your support as we switched to remote learning this week. We had over 90% attendance daily during remote, and students were participating and helping each other. I am very proud of our community for making this switch so quickly and successfully.
At this time, we are planning to return to in-person learning on Monday, January 24th. I will email families again tomorrow once I have confirmation from the district.
In partnership,
Libby DeBell

Seattle Schools 2022 Levies
Did you know our schools rely on voter-approved levies?
Thanks to local levies, we are able to fund staff, programs, and opportunities for our students, as well as ensure our school buildings are safe and healthy.
There are two local levies on the Tuesday, Feb. 8 ballot that continue funding for our students and schools.
Proposition 1: Educational Programs & Operations Levy Renewal continues funding for:
- Staff like school nurses and custodians
- Programs like special education, English Language Learners, and student nutrition services
- Student opportunities like art, extracurriculars, and athletics
Proposition 2: Buildings, Technology, and Academics/Athletics Levy Renewalcontinues funding for:
- Building maintenance and repairs
- Student computers and classroom technology
- Academic and athletic building projects and equipment, including new grandstands at the SPS-owned Memorial Stadium
You can learn more about the levies and what they fund.
