How Do You Find Report Cards?
It's that time of year for the first report card of the year. In middle school, students receive a letter grade, unlike the elementary students who have a Standards Based report card.
When you log into Genesis:
- Select Student Data.
- Next click on Current Grades.
- Marking Period 1 (MP1) Grade will be displayed (see photo below, green column).
On the same page, next to Current Grades is a tab for Available Report Cards. This tab will show you all of the report cards for every year your child has been enrolled in the Freehold Township School District. You can access and print all report cards from kindergarten through 8th grade. Once your child enters high school, you will no longer have access to this information.
How will I know if my student(s) made honor roll?
There are two different ways to see if your student has made Honor Roll/High Honor Roll.
The second way to see your students Honor Roll status is a little longer.
First and most immediate way is to select the Grading tab.
- Select Available Report Cards (Fig. 1)
- Then select the most current Report Card by clicking the blue button on the far right column. That will open a PDF file of your students report card. On the lower right side of the Report Card there is box labeled Honors Status (Fig. 2).
The second way to see your students Honor Roll status is a little longer.
- Click on the Documents tab. On the new screen you will see Honor Roll Certificates.
- If you click on the MP1 Certificate it will provide you with a PDF of the Honor Roll Certificate (Fig. 3). This is usually completed a minimum of a week after the report card issue date. Calculations need to be double checked and then all the individual documents need to be uploaded for each student through Guidance.
If you are curious how Honor Roll is working this school year, please refer to the Generals Update.
